Identify Person of Interest - 100 Monterrey Dr. May 28, 2021

Victoria Crime Stoppers is asking for your help in identifying a subject involved in an incident that occurred on the 100 Block of Monterrey Dr. on May 28, at approximately 8:00 pm.
The subject, possibly in his 30’s, seemed to be intoxicated at the time. He left while being confronted by security at the location. He was wearing a black shirt with white markings and blue jeans at the time of the incident.
Burglary of Vehicle on 300 N Glass St May 21, 2021
***Update***The van used in this burglary has been identified. Investigators with the Victoria Police Department are continuing to investigate who was using the van at the time of the crime. ***
On May 21, 2021, at approximately 5:50 pm, lawn care equipment was stolen from the back of a pickup truck while it was parked at a location on the 300 Block of N Glass St. The suspects used a dark blue mini-van. From video, it appears the front driver’s door cannot be opened from the inside.
Burglary at 1408 Melrose Dr. May 19, 2021
On May 19 and June 14, 2021, the recreation center at 1408 Melrose Dr was broken into. Both times, the actors did more than an estimated $25,000 in damage to the facility as well as furniture and other items inside. Paints used by local children and others for fun were used to deface the property and materials used for crafts were destroyed.
Catalytic Converter Thefts May 12, 2021
Victoria Crime Stoppers is asking for your help in solving a rash of catalytic converter thefts.
Over the past few weeks, the Victoria Police Department has seen a large number of these thefts happen in the area. The converters are a part of the exhaust system underneath of cars and trucks. To quickly remove them, the suspects are likely crawling under vehicles and using a cordless reciprocating saw (aka sawzall) to cut the exhaust pipes and remove the converter from the vehicle. The converters can be sold for scrap.
Investigators at the Victoria Police Department are asking anyone who has seen suspicious activity like that described to submit a tip to Victoria Crime Stoppers or call the Victoria Police Department.
Aggravated Assault on 4100 John Stockbauer May 02, 2021
On May 2, 2021, at approximately 5:00am, the Victoria Police Department received a call regarding a shooting. The shooting occurred at an apartment complex on the 4100 Block of N John Stockbauer Dr. The victim, a woman in her 30’s, told police she had been shot at her apartment. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Burglary on 1200 Block of N Moody St. March 26, 2021
On March 26, 2021, at approximately 12:50 am, a subject broke into a resale shop on the 1200 block of N Moody St. The suspect, a thin white or Hispanic male, broke into the building through a small window and broke a display case inside the store in an effort to steal merchandise.
Aggravated Assault at 4100 N Navarro St March 06, 2021
On March 6, 2021, at approximately 3:45 am, during a disturbance at a nightclub on the 4100 block of N Navarro St, a 33-year-old woman was struck in the face with a handgun. The suspect, described by the victim as a tall black male, had pointed the weapon at her head before striking her with it and then fleeing the scene.
Robbery on 8900 Block of N Navarro St. March 05, 2021
On March 5, 2021, at approximately 6:10 pm, employees of a business on the 8900 block of N Navarro St witnessed a Hispanic male wearing a gray t-shirt conceal unpaid items in a backpack he had carried into the store. When employees confronted the suspect, he used his arm to shove past the employees and then ran from the store with the stolen merchandise.
Aggravated Assault at E Forrest St and Willard St February 20, 2021
On February 20, 2021, at approximately 2:30 am, the Victoria Police Department dispatch center received a call regarding shots fired near E Forrest and Williard St. During the investigation, officers discovered that a vehicle driven by a 21 year old male was shot. The car was struck but the victim was uninjured. The victim abandoned his car in a nearby field while seeking safety after the shooting.
Burglary of a Habitation February 13, 2021

On November 13, 2020, a man attempted to register a black 2014 Chevrolet Impala at the Victoria County Tax Office. He was not allowed to and it was later discovered the vehicle he attempted to register had been stolen from a residence on the 500 block of Rattan Dr. Police later recovered the vehicle after it was abandoned in a parking lot.
Robbery on 4100 N John Stockbauer Dr January 02, 2021
On January 2, 2021 at approximately 8:20 am, two male subjects robbed a man at an apartment complex on the 4100 Block of N John Stockbauer Dr. One suspect was described as a black male wearing a dark-colored jacket and the second suspect was described as a black male wearing a red jacket. They fled from the scene and were recorded by security cameras at the complex.
Burglary of a Habitation December 18, 2020
In the early morning hours of December 18, 2020, three subjects in a gray truck stole a Harbor Freight brand welding machine and an Echo brand grass trimmer from the victim’s residence on the 1300 Block of E Loma Vista. The welding machine had been in the bed of a truck and the trimmer in the garage.
Robbery on 5600 Block of Hwy 77 S December 11, 2020
On December 11, 2020 at approximately 3:55 am, four subjects robbed the 7-11 convenience store on the 5600 block of US Hwy 77 S. Two subjects tied up the clerks while the others attempted to break into an ATM at the location. They were unable to break into the ATM and left the store, taking some merchandise and cash from the registers with them when they fled.
Burglary at 7900 N Navarro St November 17, 2020
On November 17, 2020 at approximately 3:30 am, officers with the Victoria Police Department responded to a business on the 7900 block of N Navarro St for a burglary alarm. When they arrived, they discovered a broken window at the business. Security cameras at a nearby business recorded a dark SUV drop off two subjects near the business just before the alarm.
Burglary on 5200 N John Stockbauer Dr. November 15, 2020
On multiple occasions on November 15 and November 16, 2020 a business on the 5200 block of N John Stockbauer was broken into. During these incidents, the suspects stole a large number of remote controlled cars. The incidents may be related and on at least one occasion, a white Dodge Charger appears to be involved.
Aggravated Assault on 2400 Mumphord October 29, 2020
On October 29, 2020, at approximately 11:30pm, four subjects shot into a residence on the 2400 block of Mumphord St, striking one of the occupants. The subjects were wearing “hoodies” and masks. The attackers used a four door car, parking with their lights off near the residence and fleeing from the scene in it after the assault. Investigators are asking the public to aid in identifying the suspects or the vehicle used in this crime.
Hit and Run on 1300 N Main St October 19, 2020
Investigation into several tips received by Victoria Crime Stoppers is progressing. Investigators with the Victoria Police Department provided another video of the black pickup sought in connection with this case. They ask that anyone with information please contact Victoria Crime Stoppers.
On 10/19/2020 at approximately 11:00 pm, a Victoria man was struck by a vehicle as he walked near the 1300 block of N Main St. Investigators are looking for a black Chevrolet Avalanche, Cadillac Escalade EXT, or pickup with an aftermarket sports bar accessory that mimics the Avalanche’s distinctive shape in connection with this incident.

Aggravated Robbery on 2900 Houston Hwy September 03, 2020
On 09/03/2020 at approximately 10:00pm, the victim was approached by three Hispanic males at a business on the 2900 Block of Houston Hwy. The victim was threatened with a weapon and one of the males demanded their belongings. The subject shown in this photograph is sought for questioning by law enforcement in this case. He is described as a short Hispanic male with a “bowl” haircut.
Aggravated Assault at Queen City Park August 26, 2020
On 08/26/2020 at approximately 3:00pm, a man was assaulted at Queen City Park, 2202 N Cameron St.
The victim reported that he was assaulted by 3 black males. One of the males, struck the victim repeatedly with a bat. This male was described as “stocky” and wearing a plain brown t-shirt.
