On January 21, 2022 at approximately 2:20 am, a convenience store on the 2500 block of N Ben Jordan St. was robbed. The suspect threatened store clerks with a handgun and demanded money. He then fled the store. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his late 20’s or early 30’s. He was wearing a black hoodie and dark colored pants at the time of the robbery.
On December 13, 2021, just after midnight, a convenience store on the 1500 block of Port Lavaca Hwy. was robbed. The suspect was described as a black male with a gray beard. He was wearing a gray hoodie at the time of the robbery. He demanded money from the clerk and fled from the location on foot.
In December 2021, a man using someone else’s driver license number and four different credit cards, made four orders for construction materials at a local business on the 600 block of Burroughsville Rd. Three of the cards were declined and investigators with the Victoria Police Department are seeking to identify two men in association with this case.
On 11/15/2021, just before 4:00 am, three men robbed a convenience store on the 4000 block of US Hwy 59. After entering the store, they attempted to break into an ATM at the location before fleeing from the store. One suspect was a black male, approximately 5’08 and wearing a dark jacket. Another suspect was a thin black male wearing a red hoodie, and the last suspect was a man wearing a blue work shirt and a straw hat.
Investigators with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Rangers are conducting a large scale investigation into the disappearance of sixteen year old Benjamin. Family members last saw him on October 26, 2021 and reported him missing the next day. Benjamin is 6’2” and 300lbs with black hair and brown eyes. So far, three persons of interest have been arrested for Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Assault, but Benjamin remains missing.
On September 15, 2021, at approximately 10:30 pm, three men robbed a man at an apartment complex on the 600 block of Fillmore Ave. The victim was taking out his trash when the suspects confronted him. The suspects struck the victim and threatened him with a gun before stealing personal property and fleeing. One suspect was wearing a white t-shirt and the other two were wearing dark hoodies.
On August 27, 2021, at approximately 4:00 pm, the suspects, two males and a female, met with the victim on the 200 block of Magdalena to discuss the sale of some property. The back seat passenger, a black male, snatched the property from the victim. When the victim tried to retrieve it, the back seat passenger grabbed the victim as they fled, causing him to be dragged by the car a short distance before he fell to the roadway.

On July 29, 2021, at approximately 8:24 am, a male subject wielding a handgun robbed a convenience store on the 2000 Block of Ben Wilson Dr. The subject, a black male wearing dark clothing, a black cap, and two masks, threatened the clerk with the weapon before stealing money from the location and fleeing.

Victoria Crime Stoppers is asking for your help in identifying a subject involved in an incident that occurred on the 100 Block of Monterrey Dr. on May 28, at approximately 8:00 pm.
The subject, possibly in his 30’s, seemed to be intoxicated at the time. He left while being confronted by security at the location. He was wearing a black shirt with white markings and blue jeans at the time of the incident.

On May 21, 2021, at approximately 5:50 pm, lawn care equipment was stolen from the back of a pickup truck while it was parked at a location on the 300 Block of N Glass St. The suspects used a dark blue mini-van. From video, it appears the front driver’s door cannot be opened from the inside.
On May 19 and June 14, 2021, the recreation center at 1408 Melrose Dr was broken into. Both times, the actors did more than an estimated $25,000 in damage to the facility as well as furniture and other items inside. Paints used by local children and others for fun were used to deface the property and materials used for crafts were destroyed.
On May 2, 2021, at approximately 5:00am, the Victoria Police Department received a call regarding a shooting. The shooting occurred at an apartment complex on the 4100 Block of N John Stockbauer Dr. The victim, a woman in her 30’s, told police she had been shot at her apartment. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

On May 1, 2021, at approximately 1:10 pm, a male and female subject attempted to steal a variety of items from a store on the 4100 Block of Houston Hwy. The female subject, who was wearing a pink mask and a black leather jacket, concealed the items in her purse. The male subject was riding a cart and had a missing left leg. When confronted, the female subject ripped jewelry from the neck of a store employee. They fled in a silver SUV.
On March 26, 2021, at approximately 12:50 am, a subject broke into a resale shop on the 1200 block of N Moody St. The suspect, a thin white or Hispanic male, broke into the building through a small window and broke a display case inside the store in an effort to steal merchandise.

On March 6, 2021, at approximately 3:45 am, during a disturbance at a nightclub on the 4100 block of N Navarro St, a 33-year-old woman was struck in the face with a handgun. The suspect, described by the victim as a tall black male, had pointed the weapon at her head before striking her with it and then fleeing the scene.
On March 5, 2021, at approximately 6:10 pm, employees of a business on the 8900 block of N Navarro St witnessed a Hispanic male wearing a gray t-shirt conceal unpaid items in a backpack he had carried into the store. When employees confronted the suspect, he used his arm to shove past the employees and then ran from the store with the stolen merchandise.
On February 20, 2021, at approximately 2:30 am, the Victoria Police Department dispatch center received a call regarding shots fired near E Forrest and Williard St. During the investigation, officers discovered that a vehicle driven by a 21 year old male was shot. The car was struck but the victim was uninjured. The victim abandoned his car in a nearby field while seeking safety after the shooting.

On November 13, 2020, a man attempted to register a black 2014 Chevrolet Impala at the Victoria County Tax Office. He was not allowed to and it was later discovered the vehicle he attempted to register had been stolen from a residence on the 500 block of Rattan Dr. Police later recovered the vehicle after it was abandoned in a parking lot.
On January 23, 2021, at approximately 9:45 pm, officers investigated a shots fired call in the area of the 3000 Block of E Red River St. Several shell casings were located in the parking lot of 3010 E Red River St., House of Fades, which was closed at the time. Officers located a gray Ford Expedition with a shot rear windshield that may be involved.
